CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL (DECEMBER 2022)
Our school took part in the Christmas Tree Festival at St. Margaret's Church, Ilkley. We decorated our tree with a range of colourful and sparkly hearts to promote our love of school, learning, singing and Christmas. Some of the baubles also displayed our school values. KS2 took part in promoting our tree, singing a range of lovely Christmas songs, with the help of Mrs Sweet. The response and feedback from the Church visitors were just amazing and we all felt very festive. Thank you to all for taking part and a huge thank you to Mrs Sweet and Mrs Samtaney-Roberts. The Plumber Drummer
The Plumber Drummer came to visit our school. Nathan, known as the 'Plumber Drummer' introduced the children to his new discovered instrument. The instrument is created from different lengthed drain pipes, each length producing a different note from a scale. He performed a range of his own songs and some of our favourites. The plumber drummer encouraged the children to clap along to the pulse of the music.
