Wraparound Care
I am absolutely thrilled to announce that for September 2025, we are launching our very own Wraparound Care service here at Addingham Primary School.
This exciting development comes after extensive work with our governing body and dedicated school team. We are also delighted to be working closely with the brilliant team at Nursery Rhymes and Jabberwocky Club—a name many of you will already recognise as providers of outstanding wraparound care. Their experience and insight are helping us to shape a provision that meets the needs of our families while creating a nurturing and engaging environment for all our children.
Our new club will be based in our current Year 1 classroom, which we are transforming into a vibrant, flexible space for before and after school care. This location allows for easy drop-offs and pick-ups and will be a hub of fun, learning, and community.
The provision will run from 7:30am –8:40am and 3:20pm-6:00pm.
The fees for the provision are per child per session:
Before school- £6.25
After School - £13.50
We are designing the club with every child in mind. Whether your child enjoys quiet time to relax, energetic play outdoors, or getting stuck into crafts, games, and projects, we’ll have a space for them.
There will be:
- Quiet zones for reading, relaxing, or winding down
- Creative and activity areas full of games, crafts, and interactive fun
- Outdoor play, using our fantastic school grounds for fresh air and freedom
- Structured evenings with themed activities and links to our existing school clubs
- Homework support to ease the pressure at home
- Access to educational professionals for additional learning, support, or challenge when requested.
Our aim is to create a safe, inspiring and well-organised setting that truly supports families and enhances the school experience for every child.
Tailored to You – With Your Input
Our goal is to develop a bespoke childcare programme that genuinely meets the needs and preferences of our families. We want our wraparound care to feel like an extension of home. A warm, welcoming environment that bridges the gap between home and school. Your input is vital in helping us achieve this. Over the next term, we’ll be working closely with pupils from Reception to Year 6 to gather their views, and we would also love to hear from you as parents and carers.
On the sign-up form, you’ll find space to share your top tips, ideas, and anything you feel is an absolute necessity. Whether it’s routines that work well for your child, suggestions for activities, or thoughts on snacks and structure—we welcome it all.
Sign Up Now to Secure Your Place
We are now taking bookings for the entire school year, and we strongly encourage families to sign up as soon as possible. Early sign-up allows us to recruit the right staff, plan effectively, and ensure that everything is in place for a smooth and successful start in September.
Families who book now will guarantee their child’s place, with payments taken one month in advance. Where spaces remain available, we will also offer flexible, last-minute bookings to support families who need that option.

Not only will this provide much-needed support for families, but it also has the potential to bring in valuable additional funding that benefits all our pupils.
