Rounders

Year 5

A few weeks ago, Year 5 formed a rounders team and took part in a tournament performed by Ilkley Grammar School. They only played 2 games in total out of 4! In their first game the team played exceedingly well and won by fourteen rounders: 40-26.

The second game, however, was not available for the team to play. At least we got an automatic win.

The third game was relatively the same and was not available, but this time, however, it was caused by the weather (it was raining basically).

Sadly, in the semi-finals (the fourth game) we lost 30-21.

The Year 5 rounders team overall had fun and played well throughout the tournament.
