Instrumental and Vocal Tuition - Application information.
Is your child interested in learning an instrument in school. Did you know that music has academic benefits? It can help support children's learning in other subjects and can help with:
- listening skills, concentration, creativity, perseverance, resilience and self-confidence.
VIOLA, CELLO and DOUBLE BASS (BRADFORD AND MUSIC ARTS SERVICE)
Your child watched a short concert on Wednesday 11th February demonstrating and exploring a range of stringed instruments, delivered by Felicity French.
Viola, Cello or Double Bass lessons are on offer for children from Year 1 to Year 6.

If your child is interested, you must make your own arrangements to hire or purchase an instrument. This can be done via 'Windstruments': http://www.windstruments.co.uk/contact

Please note: Lessons will only go ahead if there is enough children to make them viable.
RECORDER, CLARINET, FLUTE, TRUMPET, CORNET and SAXOPHONE -
MUSIC FOR SCHOOLS FOUNDATION
We are also providing the opportunity for your child to learn an instrument in partnership with the Music for Schools Foundation. This is a non-profit making charity that provide small group lessons on Recorder, Clarinet, Flute, Trumpet, Cornet and Saxophone.
How much does it cost?
Your child can learn to play for around £1.50 a day and packages include an instrument, music book, music stand book bag and instrument maintenance cover. If you already have an instrument, you can just pay for the lessons and there are also reductions for children eligible for Pupil Premium.
